A wonderful Spode dessert set, c1820 comprising two dessert dishes, six plates, and a comport, all exquisitely and delicately painted with English garden flowers including roses, tulips, narcissi, and passion flowers, and scattered with butterflies. There is a small hairline crack in one of the dessert dishes and also the comport - hard to see but shown. The plates are perfect though some are more rubbed than others.
